Sungrow Hardware

The following hardware should work with Energy Manager. Please note that different models and firmware versions can behave differently so some small configuration changes may need to be made to make a specific model work correctly. Not all models have been tested.

⚠️Draft compatibility list

This is a draft compatibilty list. These models should work but are in no way guaranteed until they have been reported as working.

Single-phase models

  • SH3.0RS (3kW)
  • SH3.6RS (3.6kW)
  • SH4.0RS (4kW)
  • SH5.0RS (5kW)
  • SH6.0RS (6kW)
  • SH8.0RS (8kW)
  • SH10RS (10kW)

Three-phase models

  • SH5.0RT (5kW)
  • SH6.0RT (6kW)
  • SH8.0RT (8kW)
  • SH10RT (10kW)
  • SH15T (15kW)
  • SH20T (20kW)
  • SH25T (25kW)

Batteries

  • SBR series: SBR096/128/160/192/224/256
  • SBH series: SBH100/150/200

Other requirements

  • Either a wired ethernet connection to your inverter or a WiNet-S WiFi dongle (direct ethernet recommended)
  • S100 (single-phase) or DTUS666 (three-phase, but can also work on single-phase) is essential to provide the following measurement data:
    • Export limitation compliance
    • Battery charging/discharging decisions
    • Grid consumption monitoring

Notes

  1. Either an S100 (Single-phase) or a DTUS666 (three-phase) is required. The internal smart meter in the 8kW or higher inverters is not sufficient.
  2. Either ethernet of a WiNet-S WiFi dongle is needed. The recommendation is for a physical CAT6 ethernet cable for stability and reliability.

ℹ️Important

Not all of these hardware models have been tested, but should work. Any that are found to NOT work will be removed the moment it is discovered.
