GoodWe Hardware

The following hardware should work with Energy Manager. Please note that different models and firmware versions can behave differently so some small configuration changes may need to be made to make a specific model work correctly. Not all models have been tested.

⚠️Draft compatibility list

This is a draft compatibilty list. These models should work but are in no way guaranteed until they have been reported as working.

Single-phase models

EH Series - 3.6-6kW (early release support in current Energy Manager v0.3.1)

EHB Series - 5-10kW (early release support in current Energy Manager v0.3.1)

ESA Series - 3-10kW/5-48kWh (testing under way, expected to release support in Energy Manager v0.3.2, due January 2026)


Three-phase models

ET Series - 6-15kW (testing under way, expected to release support in Energy Manager v0.3.2, due January 2026)


Other requirements

A wired ethernet connection is recommended for stability.


Notes

  1. You may find your modbus is disabled by default. You will need to enable it from in your SolarGo app.
  2. If you are going to use WiFi, you should change the following modbus entry through your SolarGo app - 47040. Read the setting (via the "Parameters" link at the bottom, then long-press "Device Information" for at last 8 seconds), and if it is set as "0", change it to "1". This register is the "WiFi Modbus TCP Enable" setting, that must be enabled for WiFi communications.
  3. Your modbus slave should be set as 247 in Home Assistant if your inverter has been configured with default settings.
